This song was written during the “Me Too” movement when I was coincidentally dealing with a reckoning with my own rapist. For the first time in my life, I was allowing myself to feel my anger surrounding many injustices brought on me by the patriarchy throughout my life. I wanted the song to serve me as fuel to aid me in transmuting my anger into power.
